Halloween is almost here you guys. I couldn’t be more excited. This is by far my favorite time of year and my favorite holiday. Of course, the nerdlets would probably disagree since Christmas presents > Halloween candy in their book. I suppose I won’t disown them for that one, though.
Do you have any big plans for celebrating the night of ghouls and goblins this year? Nerdlet 2 got a giant T-rex costume and has barely taken it off since. I’m pretty sure he just identifies as a dinosaur now. Nerdlet 1 is going through a neverending anime phase and just had to be a broken doll this year. I’m not terribly excited for her growing up so much, but doing her makeup will be fun!
I got to go to one of my favorite Halloween spots back in Ohio and picked up a few prosthetics to do a Fright Night-esque vampire. I’m not going to lie, I’m super excited about that costume. I have been a pretty huge horror nerd for most of my life and Fright Night is definitely one of my top 5 movies of all time.
No matter how fun the holiday is though it’s still time for school work. I have a number of different Halloween printables for different grade levels I plan on sharing ( FREE of course ) on the blog this week. If you have any ideas you’d like done for this or any holiday, just drop me a message and I’ll be happy to help point you in the right direction or try to get something made up here.

Today I have two sets of Halloween word problems. These Halloween worksheets for middle school or elementary ages covers division, addition, and tons of other basic math skills. One has a small story regarding trick or treaters dividing up their candy. The second has a small story about a monster throwing a party for his friends. Each worksheet is four questions long and has a separate area to show any work done.
