How We Keep it Fresh on a Busy Homeschool Day Out
How’s it been, mamas? It’s been a little while hasn’t it? I’ve missed you! I had to take a little hiatus to get my head back to a good place for blogging after a few not so great things happened in our little world but I am back and ready to slay! Do you ever find the need to take some time to get grounded? Leave us a comment and let us know how you stay grounded as a busy mom! I am always looking for new tips and tricks to try out!
Now that I am refreshed and back to business I am so excited to announce a lot of pretty awesome changes coming up soon around here including a new Instagram TV channel (be sure to follow us if you aren’t already! We will be sharing our ghost hunting adventures, fun kids crafts, recipes, and much more that you don’t want to miss!), lots of changes to the blog, and a new e-book!
Can we get a little real for a minute though ladies? How many of you have had the experience of teen-stink? Now that mine are both in the realm of early teenhood I have learned a lot more than I would like to about the aroma of puberty (Is teenhood a word? Well, it totally is now.. I’m declaring that a word).
Now, don’t get me wrong. Younger kids can be pretty stinky too. I’m not exactly wishing for days of dirty diapers and mine almost always had a peculiar pungency after playing in the mud and lord knows what else.
The smell of a teenager is a whole other ball game though. Once you reach a certain part of our bedroom hallway it’s like entering the bog of eternal stench. ( Smellll baddddddd!!!)
I remember these days well from when I was a teenager myself. I had always had a pretty serious perspiration problem because of an overactive thyroid that went undiagnosed until I was about 19. I don’t know how many ways I came up with to hide drenched pits or times I worried about being “the odd smell in the room”. It was a dreadful experience for sure, but for some reason, I just wasn’t expecting it yet with these two. It definitely took me off guard when the stink monster decided to show up here and I found myself trying to find the best ways to get rid of body odor.
Let’s be honest though. Those angsty little housemates of yours aren’t the only ones who have to deal with perspiration problems. If you are a busy mom chasing little ones around or driving from one place to the next ( in some cruh-azy southern heat…what is up with that this year!?!), or just being an awesome fun mama you can work up a sweat in no time.
Before you know it you’re not only looking for a remedy for body odor for those teenagers in training but a good deodorant and antiperspirant for women as well! I’ve tried a few but definitely find that a deodorant spray is a great option because it is so easy to use any time you need a little refresh.
