There are so many amazing food artists out there on the internet these days that it can be hard to sift through the sea of food. If you’re like me ( Read: the attention span of a hamster.) you can easily get distracted by the hundreds of other recipes they have available on their sites and then forget what you went there for in the first place. Sure, there’s Pinterest or Foodgawker but you run into the same problem there and next thing you know you you’re pinning Lord of the Rings crafts. (true story)

I’ve Taken the Guess Work Out of it

I’ve put together what I think are the absolute cutest recipes out there this year for Valentines Day from around the blogosphere. Many of these would make awesome treats to take in for school parties. They would also be great for after school snacks, or just to eat on your own while the kids are at school (Don’t judge me).

  1. There are so many cute ideas here! I especially loved the wafers because you can dip them into various colors and also vary the sprinkle types – so appealing for kids to make as an edible craft, and they’ll love that they can individualize what they’re making. I also like the rice crispy valentine letters!

    1. Thanks! I agree, they are very versatile, you could really use them for any holiday! Southern Made Simple really came through with a great treat on that one!

    1. Thanks! I agree they really do look good. Southern Made Simple really made an awesome snack there! 🙂

  2. So many fantastic Valentine’s Day ideas! I really like the donuts, I think they are super cute, but I don’t think I could do the icing on it. I could however do the V-day crack, oh my god, that looks good and easy!

    1. I know what you mean. I always see things that are so pretty and then realize mine would most likely just look like something pink exploded on it lmao.

    1. I love that. We always have tons of sprinkles around for things like this so I can’t wait to try it at out house too.

  3. This is so awesome! I love each and every one of your ideas. The hand pies take the cake for me though. I think it’s nice to be able to make treats for our pets too! They need to feel the love on Valentine’s Day just as much as we do!
