My son and I had a debate the other night. He thinks that peanut butter and chocolate don’t belong together. I am questioning if he is really my son. Is there anything better than peanut butter and chocolate together? Ok, maybe those newish reeses with reeses pieces in them… peanut butter and chocolate and candy and more peanut butter. Oh my glob yes.
This brownie fits the bill as one of the most heavenly desserts I’ve had in a long time. Peanut butter and soft brownie together. I’m in love y’all. I should call them Fallon brownies because this has been my go to snack for mommy time ( aka leave me alone I’m watching Jimmy Fallon).
It says brownie for one but it’s really enough for two….but who wants to share something this good? My family are on their own on this one.
( Not a chocolate fan? No worries I boo I’ve got you! Check out my blueberry bliss muffin in a mug here)
A Snack for Anyone
A good thing about single serving treats is that you can alter them for just about anyone. Looking for something a little healthier? Substitute the cocoa for a protein powder. Not a fan of peanut butter ( you monster, you) try it with strawberry sauce or even caramel!
They can be altered for just about any food allergies that may be present in your family as well. They are already dairy free and vegetarian. They can be made gluten-free by altering the flour. As always with our recipes here at Ghastly Girl, organic sugar is recommended to help make this treat a little healthier.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies for One
Mug brownies are just about one of the easiest snacks you can make for yourself. In just a few simple steps and ingredients just about everyone has around the house you can be in brownie heaven in no time.
