Monday Makers Party

Join in the Fun at the New Monday Makers Party

monday makers party

How is your Monday going Boo Crew? Do you have any big plans for the week? I have to tell you I am so excited for this week to get started! We have some big things starting here at Ghastly Girl that I have been dying to tell you guys about.

Creativity has always been so important to me. Not only is it a huge part of my life, but I also love seeing what other people come up with. I could spend hours going through Pinterest, Instagram, and other sites looking over craft projects for inspiration. All of that browsing and inspiration brought me to a great idea to help bring it all to one place here at Ghastly Girl.

The Monday Makers Party

Every Monday we will be featuring a new tutorial for a DIY or craft project here at Ghastly Girl. In addition, we will be hosting a link up party to showcase your projects each week! We want to see what you are doing!

The party is open and welcome to all bloggers from 10:00 AM Monday until Midnight Monday night. I’m really not a huge fan of rules, but of course, I do have to have a few.

Link Up Party Rules:

  1. All links must be family friendly DIY or craft projects. This is not a link up party for selling things, authors, or other types of posts. It is strictly to showcase crafters, makers, and other hands-on creative types.
  2. Kids crafts are welcome, however, may be more appropriate in our MiniMakers area (see below)
  3. Please keep it to two links per blog per week.
  4. If you link up, please comment on at least one other blog that has joined the party.

Monday Makers Party on Instagram

In addition to the link up party, there will be a special hashtag that we will be using on Instagram. All accounts using this tag will have the chance of being reposted to our special Monday Makers Party Account.

All entries to the Instagram party should use the tag #MondayMakersParty each Monday.

Of course, be sure to follow MondayMakersParty on Instagram.

Monday Makers Party on Pinterest

All participants in the Monday Makers Party each week will be able to pin their posts in our Monday Makers Party group board on Pinterest.

The board will officially open next Monday, however, you can access that and all other Ghastly Girl group boards by following Ghastly Girl on Pinterest. If you would like to be added as a contributor, send me a message once you have followed specifying which boards you would like to be added to.

Minimaker Monday

MiniMaker Mondays

It wouldn’t be fair if we left our little minimakers out, though, would it? We all know that our kids can be just as creative as we can, if not more so! I absolutely love seeing what kids can come up with. One of the best things about the homeschool community is watching kids realize their potential when given the freedom to explore their interests.

In the spirit of exploration and creativity, we are also adding Minimaker Mondays here at Ghastly Girl. Each Monday over on our YouTube channel we will be featuring a tutorial video from our little resident minimakers.

We will also have the special Instagram tag #MiniMakerMonday for our kid crafts showcase to be featured on our Monday Makers Party Instagram account.

Submit Your Ideas

I look forward to connecting with everyone and seeing what you all have to share. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or any ideas that you would like to share regarding the event please feel free to comment below or contact me directly.

Be sure to follow Ghastly Girl on Facebook or Twitter for updates and on Instagram to catch all of the awesome Monday Maker Party posts each week!

  1. I think it’s a great way to showcase you work! I’m not really the arts and crafts type of person but it would be nice to see the works of others!

    1. Yes, I cannot wait to see what the kids come up with! Kids crafts are so much fun. ( I’m totally not too proud to admit sometimes I make my kids do certain crafts so I can do them too haha)
